Enrollments

ACADEMIC YEAR 2026/2027

To renew enrolment within the deadline, students of the Polytechnic University of Bari must pay the enrolment fee, which will be generated by the Esse3 system and will be visible in the Payments page of each profile’s reserved area. Renewal of enrolment for subsequent years is completed by paying the 2026/27 enrolment fee, starting from 3 September 2026 and by 31 October 2026.

The enrolment fee of € 136 includes exclusively the following items (visible by clicking on the Invoice number in Esse3):

  • ADISU regional fee: €120;
  • Virtual stamp duty: € 16.

Income and academic merit do not affect the amount of the first instalment, which are taken into account in the calculation of the second, third and fourth instalments.

N.B. For income certification procedures, please consult the relevant information available in the fees section at the link: www.poliba.it/it/tasse

All students must pay the first instalment of € 136 (€ 120 + € 16 + subsequently the ADISU adjustment to be paid with T2 based on the ISEE amount for subsidised benefits for the right to university study).

Students with certified disabilities equal to or greater than 66% and students recognized as disabled pursuant to Art. 3, para. 1 of Law 104/1992 are exempt from paying € 136 and are required to pay only the € 16 stamp duty. To obtain this exemption, an application must be submitted by consulting the dedicated notice.

Renewal of enrollment for graduating students

Students who intend to graduate in the extraordinary session (January - April) are exempt from paying the enrolment fees for the following academic year (1st, 2nd) only and exclusively if, by 31 December, they have passed all the exams предусмотрed by their study plan, with the exception of the internship and the final examination. Study plan refers to all exams required to reach the total number of CFU credits for the award of the degree.

For those who obtain a bachelor’s degree in the extraordinary session and enrol in the same academic year in a master’s degree programme at the Polytechnic University of Bari, the second instalment, necessary to be able to take exams from January to April, will be offset against the additional instalments of the all-inclusive contribution T2, T3 and T4, up to the same amount, without reimbursement for any additional credits earned. ADISU fees will also be offset, while stamp duties are excluded.

All students who are not in the condition described above are required to pay the enrolment instalments (1st and 2nd), which will not be subject to reimbursement.

PREMISE

This notice governs enrollment in single courses for the year 2026/27.

CORSI SINGOLI DI TIPO 1:
Recognition of ECTS credits as prerequisites for admission to the two-year Master’s Degrees of the Polytechnic

Definitions, deadlines and costs

A single course taken as a prerequisite, and therefore “for credit recovery,” is defined as the teaching activity undertaken by a three-year degree graduate who has requested and obtained a preliminary assessment of their prior academic record, from which a “debt” or, in any case, a gap to be filled before enrollment in the two-year Master’s Degree (through the admission procedure to the Master’s Degrees) has emerged. Such a gap must be formally expressed by a Department resolution (or by the competent teaching structure).

Enrollment in “credit recovery” single courses is free of charge for graduates of the three-year degree at the Polytechnic of Bari; for graduates of other universities, the cost is € 50,00 for each single course; the statutory stamp duty is also due, which must be paid online via PAGOPA.

It is possible to submit a request for a maximum of 5 single courses, chosen, for the year 2026/27, from the Educational Offer of the Polytechnic of Bari for A.Y. 2026/27.

The exam may be taken starting from 1 January 2027. The deadline for recording the passing of the final exam for single courses is 31/12/2027. After this date, enrollment in the single course expires.

ACADEMIC YEAR 2025/2026

PART-TIME STUDENTS A.Y.2025/2026

Why enroll part-time

Free choice

A student who decides to opt for “part-time” expects not to be able to devote all of their time to study and may enroll by declaring that they will acquire, over the course of two academic years, a number of CFU equal to one ordinary academic year. This means that students who decide to opt for this form of enrollment double the time to obtain the CFU/year.

Obligation imposed by an access regulation

Part-time enrollment may also result from an obligation imposed by the Academic Senate (see the rules for admission or for enrollment in Master's Degree programmes). In this case, the student has no possibility of choice, but must mandatorily enroll under the part-time regime.

Who may request part-time student status

The following may enroll as part-time students only students in good standing (Article 19 of the University Teaching Regulations, amended by Rectoral Decree no. 385 of 17/07/2015).

How part-time works

For a part-time student, one year of study lasts two academic years, each of which is defined as a slot. The part-time student will pay for each academic year (slot) of enrollment, the Regional Tax for the Right to Study and the virtual stamp duty are paid in full, while the all-inclusive contribution will be equal to 50% of the amount due; the student will pay the surcharges in full.

Example:

Giovanni, in 2025/26, enrolls as a part-time student (regardless of the reason), for his 1st year of the program.
Therefore, Giovanni's 1st year will last two academic years:

·FIRST SLOT 2025/26, in which Giovanni may earn a maximum of 30 CFU in the first year of the programme (between 1 January 2026 and 31 December 2026, or in any case between the date of enrollment for A.Y. 2025/26 and 31/12/2026);

·SECOND SLOT 2026/27, in which Giovanni may earn another 30 CFU (between 1 January 2027 and 31 December 2027); WARNING: the 30 CFU limit includes the CFU possibly not completed in the first slot, which are included in the calculation of the CFU for the limit!

Giovanni, in 2027/28 will be free to choose whether to retain part-time student status or switch to full-time student status.

N.B.: In calculating the recorded CFU, for the purpose of exceeding the limit, the CFU earned in the two slots are not cumulative.

What happens if the CFU/SLOT limit is exceeded

The passing Exceeding the limit of 30 recorded CFU (more than 30) entails, in any case, the loss of part-time student status. The student must in any case report the exceeding of the threshold through the Helpdesk/Ticketing service, in order to obtain the regularization of their administrative and fee position. By way of example, the previous example is repeated.

Limit exceeded in the first slot

Giovanni exceeds 30 CFU in the first slot A.Y. 2025/26. In this case, he will pay the additional half of the all-inclusive contribution; 2025/26 will be his first year of study and 2026/27 will become his second year of study.

Limit exceeded in the second slot

Giovanni exceeds 30 CFU in the second slot A.Y. 2026/27. In this case, the lapse of part-time student status will affect both slots and two academic years. He will pay the additional half of the all-inclusive contribution for both the first and the second slot, but 2025/26 will be his first year of study and 2026/27 will become his second year of study. Therefore, he will be in the second year of study with just over 60 CFU recorded.

Request to switch to part-time status: the application may be submitted, subject to prior payment of the enrollment fee of € 136, from 5 September 2025 to 30 December 2025, through the Helpdesk/Ticketing system, selecting the category "Part-time students”. For those who intend to opt for part-time student status at the same time as enrollment, the request must be submitted during the enrollment procedure (the web process asks you to select the study load regime, choosing between full-time and part-time).

Request to change from part-time to full-time: the application may be submitted by 3 September 2025 to 30 December 2025, through the Helpdesk/Ticketing system, selecting the category "Part-time students". Attention: only students who make use of part-time status may submit this request for free choice.

Study plan

The division of subjects by year and the methods for conducting lessons for part-time students are subject to evaluation by the competent academic structures. The student is therefore required to follow the Department regulations for student procedures. It is recommended to consult the paragraph relating to part-time status in the teaching regulations of the degree programme in question. Only examinations relating to the year of study in which one is actually enrolled may be taken.

Part-time student status is incompatible with the procedure of credit transfer in advance.

With the Ministerial Decree 930/2022 also in Italy, starting from the academic year 2022/23, it is possible to be enrolled simultaneously to two different Degree Courses, subject to obtaining authorization for simultaneous enrollment from the Department to which the programme belongs.

How to apply:

  • Are you a female or male student Poliba? Request it by filling out this form (CLICK HERE)
  • Are you a female or male student of a another University? After submitting the enrollment application, indicate the University and the degree programme in which you are enrolled through this Form (CLICK HERE)

NB.: Mere enrollment in an admission competition at another university NO constitutes enrollment.

It is advisable to check with the other university to verify whether similar requirements are предусмотрed for the other programme of study.

The outcome will be communicated to you by email within 90 days

Simultaneous enrollment is NOT guaranteed if it does not comply with Ministerial Decree 930/2022.
