Candidates with a qualification obtained in Italy are required to draft a substitute declaration of certification using exclusively the SELF-CERTIFICATION FORM . Photographs of documents are not accepted. The Politecnico di Bari will verify the truthfulness of the self-certified data. Clarifications on the PAGOPA payment system
The transmission of payments made with PagoPA occurs automatically and may take up to a few hours.
Attention: the payment date certified by the automatic acquisition procedure on the Esse3 portal must strictly and unavoidably fall within the period between 16.09.2026 and 14:00 on 26.09.2026. Any payments for which Esse3 reports a payment date after 26.09.2026 will not be considered valid for enrolment purposes. Applicants are advised to take into account the execution times for ordered payments established by home banking systems and banking services in general.
In the case of payment by credit card, mere acceptance of the request by the Payment Gateway and the consequent receipt of the automatic response from Esse3 does not constitute confirmation of the successful outcome of the transaction: it will be necessary to ensure that the credit card provider actually authorizes the transaction and the transfer of funds (check that the “green dot” appears next to the fee on esse3).
Income certification for the purpose of calculating tuition fees
For the purpose of determining the contribution, the student must obtain as soon as possible the ISEE Certification for subsidized benefits for the right to university education, issued between 01/01/2026 and 31/12/2026. This certification will be automatically acquired directly from the INPS information system and will appear in the “Self-certification” section of each student’s Esse3 portal, provided that the student is duly enrolled, starting from October 2026. The student does not need to upload anything to Esse3; it is sufficient to obtain the Certification within the required time limits.
