Income certification procedures for determining the amount of the all-inclusive contribution for 2026/2027

DIRECT AUTOMATIC ACQUISITION

Students of the Polytechnic University of Bari who intend to benefit from a reduction of the all-inclusive contribution compared with the maximum amount based on their income must obtain the ISEE Certification for subsidized benefits for the right to university study (hereinafter referred to as the “Certification”) by the deadline established in the Tuition Fees Regulations.

The Polytechnic University of Bari will automatically obtain from INPS the ISEE certifications for subsidized benefits for the right to university study issued by INPS by 31 December 2026.

In the absence of an I.S.E.E. (Economic Situation Indicator) for subsidized benefits for the right to university study obtained within the aforementioned period and correctly acquired by the Esse3 system, the maximum annual all-inclusive contribution will be assigned ex officio; the same will also apply to students whose ISEE certification, following the checks and inspections periodically carried out in cooperation with the Guardia di Finanza, is found to be false and/or untruthful.

ISEE certifications other than those for subsidized benefits for the right to university study will under no circumstances be accepted. Paper-format ISEE certifications will likewise not be accepted.

Each student may verify that the Certification has been correctly acquired by accessing their personal page on Esse3, in the “Self-certification” section, starting from October 2026 and subject to the student’s enrolment being in good standing.

In view of the time required by INPS to issue the ISEE certification for subsidized benefits for the right to university study, students are strongly advised to submit the request immediately.

All students are required to provide income certification as indicated above, including graduating students and those benefiting from a full exemption from the all-inclusive contribution.

Graduating students who enrol in Master's Degree programmes between 5 January and 20 May 2027 must follow the procedures indicated above. The Statement prepared before completion of the Bachelor's Degree, being linked to the tax code, will be considered valid for subsequent enrolment in the Master's Degree programme.
