STUDENT CENTER

Student center

The "Student Center" is now operational. The modern building, which was constructed in one year at a cost of 1,550,000 euros, is dedicated to the students and their studies at the Polytechnic University of Bari.

Easily recognizable from the main entrance on Via Orabona, the Student Center is part of the university campus complex where the teaching and research activities of the Polytechnic University of Bari take place.

The building is spread over two floors, totaling approximately 650 square meters, and has 244 study stations (148 on the first floor + 96 on the second floor).

On the first floor, which contains the largest study hall, the double facade with vertical and horizontal wooden slats modulates the sunlight on the large windows according to the lighting needs of the spaces. This floor also includes lounge areas at the entrance, designed for rest and breaks from studying.

The second floor contains the other two classrooms, which are approximately 250 square meters.

Additional study rooms are available in the "Michele Brucoli" library and in the libraries of the individual departments. The Taranto branch also has a large study hall and a library with a reading room.
