Pursuant to Articles 22-bis and 22-ter of Law No. 240 of 30.12.2010, the Polytechnic University of Bari may enter into fixed-term contracts, for the purposes of carrying out research activities, as well as collaboration in teaching activities and third mission activities, called ‘post-doc appointments’, financed in whole or in part with internal funds, or financed by third parties, both public and private, on the basis of specific agreements or conventions.

Politecnico di Bari may also enter into individual private-law contracts, known as “research appointments”, aimed at introducing recipients to research and innovation, under the supervision of the Scientific Coordinator of the research, also acting as tutor, reserved for young scholars holding a master’s degree or single-cycle degree obtained no more than six years earlier and with a curriculum suitable for assisting in the conduct of research activities.
