Poliba and CUS Bari in MoEBIUS, the project for Movement, Balance, Well-being in a Sustainable University
“A sound mind in a sound body,” thus the Latin phrase, so dear to the ancient Romans and even more to the ancient Greeks, who recommended its practice, a promoter of beauty
This principle is reflected in the Moebius project: Movement, Balance, Well-being in a Sustainable University, carried out by a group of universities and AFAM institutions and proposed to the Ministry of University and Scientific Research (Funding for the Promotion of Psychophysical Well-being and the Fight against Psychological and Emotional Distress among the Student Population, summarized by the acronym PRO-BEN), which financed it with an economic commitment of 2 million 750 thousand euros.
At the center of the project is the psychophysical well-being of the academic community, through activities dedicated to movement, inner balance, and sustainability.
Among the participating partner universities is the Polytechnic University of Bari, which will implement, together with CUS Bari (University Sports Center), an operational project for initiatives to enhance sports disciplines in favor of its students and, more generally, the entire Polytechnic community.
The Moebius initiative will be presented Wednesday, July 3, 10:30 a.m. at the premises of the new rectorate of Poliba (university campus - entrance via Re David). During the press conference, the objectives, actions, and expected impacts of the initiative will be illustrated, with particular emphasis on the one involving Poliba and CUS Bari.
