Politecnico di Bari in Glasgow for EAIE 2026

From 8 to 11 September 2026, the Polytechnic University of Bari will take part in Glasgow in the 36th edition of the European Association for International Education Conference and Exhibition (EAIE 2026), one of the leading international events dedicated to higher education and cooperation among academic institutions.
The Polytechnic will be represented by Prof. Vito Puliafito, Rector’s Delegate for the Internationalization of Teaching, and will take part in the event as part of UNI-BOOST – Capacity Building for University Internationalization, a project coordinated by Uni-Italia and co-funded by the Ministry of University and Research (MUR).
Together with the Polytechnic University of Bari, the project involves the University of Insubria and the University of Urbino Carlo Bo, supporting the three universities in a path aimed at consolidating their international dimension and strengthening their expertise in the field of academic cooperation.
Participation in EAIE 2026 represents the first concrete support experience provided by UNI-BOOST and will offer the Polytechnic the opportunity to meet universities, institutions, and organizations from around the world, identify new potential partners, and develop opportunities for mobility, academic collaboration, and joint project design.
The three universities will be present at the Italian Pavilion “Study in Italy / Uni-Italia”, stand B51. During the event, an institutional visit to the Italian Pavilion by the Consul General of Italy in Edinburgh, Luca Fratini, is also scheduled.
The Polytechnic’s participation in the Conference will be preceded, on 7 September, by the “Italy–UK University Partnership Day”, a side event organized by Uni-Italia at the Embassy of Italy in London. The meeting will bring together representatives of Italian and British universities with the aim of fostering dialogue and the creation of new collaborations between the two academic systems.
Attendance at the two events represents an important opportunity to promote the educational offer and expertise of the Polytechnic University of Bari at an international level, expanding its network of relations and strengthening its position in the European higher education landscape.
