Politecnico addresses gender issues and promotes women in STEM disciplines

Polilabodif, supported by Poliba, comprises a cycle of initiatives carried out together with Labodif, a research and training institute specializing in issues of difference.

Among the events open to the public, a central moment will be the evening of Friday, 20 February. At 7:00 p.m., at the Aula Magna of the Polytechnic (University Campus), the film will be screened Hidden Figures, with an introduction and commentary by the founders of Labodif: Giovanna Galletti and Gianna Mazzini. Participation is open and free of charge.

With this and other initiatives, the Polytechnic addresses gender issues as drivers of quality and innovation in scientific and engineering education and promotes women in STEM disciplines as an indispensable resource.

University orientation is therefore understood not as a choice limited to the moment of university enrollment, but as a process that is built over time.

The program is funded by the project “Territorial Agreements for Higher Education for Businesses”.
