June 16, 2026

It will take place in Bari tomorrow, 17 June, 9:00 a.m., in the main hall of the Department of Architecture, Construction, Design (ARCOD) of the Polytechnic University (university campus), a study day on short-term tourist rentals in Italian cities. As well as on structural dynamics and regulatory initiatives, with a focus dedicated to the city of Bari. The day will provide an in-depth examination of the AIRMAP research.

The initiative follows two previous events dedicated to the topic: Turin, 22 May, on a detailed overview of the main features of the short-term rental phenomenon, from its spread to its economic performance, and from its geographical distribution to the characteristics of those managing the listings, as well as its evolution over the 2017–2024 period. Bari, 25 May, at the headquarters of the Apulia Region, to present an initial research study by Uniba-Poliba focused on the city of Bari.

On the outcomes of this path and of the analytical work on the phenomenon (cf https://full.polito.it/airmap/), next Friday the national and local research dedicated to the topic of short-term tourist rentals will be extensively presented.
